Tropical Solutions Lotion

I used to have a regular face lotion, but it seems over the last few years my skin has changed and the same lotion doesn't do the trick for me anymore. Most recently I purchased the tropical solutions lotion from Dermae. I have used and loved several of their other products, and after trying a tester at the store I figured I'd try this too. It's not greasy, or leaves me feeling greasy. It's smooth, and smells nice, but not too strong. However if you rub it in too much it gets kind of clumpy, like a blanket that pills. Other than that I do like it. A little goes a long way so for $15 a bottle I think this would last you quite some time and is of good value. Not sure yet if this is the winner but I am glad I bought it.

Lip Balm Revamped?

I really liked the EOS (Evolution of Smooth) shaving cream, but their chapstick I'm on the fence about. I like the unique egg-shaped packaging, but that makes it more of a desk or purse chapstick, and not something I can keep in my pocket. The flavor "strawberry sorbet" is there, but the shape impedes with me moisturizing the corners of my lips. I'm not overly impressed but it might make a cool stocking stuffer.

Eos Shaving Cream

As a chapstick obsessed person I always have my eyes and ears open for a new one. I saw someone using a lip balm in a round egg-like container and had to know more. The Evolution of Smooth, or EOS was it's name, and I had to try it- immediately. Yet, despite my obsession with chapstick, it was the shaving cream that can be used dry or wet that I ended up trying out. Their shaving cream comes in four scent options: unscented, pomegranate raspberry, lavender, and vanilla.

I went with the vanilla and it smells so sweet and it makes your skin so smooth. On their website this product is not indicated as gluten free, and since it contains oats I was concerned, but according to the company they use "Avena Sativa Kernel Extract, which is an organic oat kernel that soothes and helps heal skin...and it's gluten-free!"

I found their shaving cream at Target, but not their balm, not yet at least. I will certainy be trying out other products from EOS, and I think their shaving cream will be in my bag for an extended camping trip.
