Puffins cereal seems like something we could eat for breakfast on a regular basis--it's crunchy, stays cruncy for longer than other cereals, seems to be naturally sweet, and we both enjoyed it. Ratings: 3/5 (Honey Rice); 4/5 (Multigrain)
If you miss that hot bowl of oatmeal or cream of wheat, here's something you may want to stock your pantry with: Eco Planet Hot Cereal. Aside from being produced in a dedicated gluten-free and top 8 allergen-free facility, it's got 7 whole grains, and only 3 more ingredients, making this a very natural cereal. In fact, the original flavor has just 1 gram of sugar, which explains why we preferred the other two flavors. All in all, this is a decent substitute for that bowl of oatmeal or cream of wheat that you've been missing. It's not identical, but it'll do.
OK, so when we thought about granola, we thought about the things we're used to: granola bars, clusters, and the type of granola that you eat with your hands while you're out on the trail. We were kinda stunned by JK Gourmet. While it certainly wasn't the "greatest granola we've ever had," Mike was surprised at how much better it got when he added... well, I guess you'll have to find out, now, won't you?!
