Rendezvous - Episode 96

The Rendezvous restaurant in Del Mar, California is a nice mix between upscale and casual. It's very close to the beach, so you wouldn't be thrown out if you came in with shorts and flip flops. Gluten-free dining options are plentiful here, as they provide a dedicated gluten-free menu with plenty of mouthwatering options--so many, in fact, we had trouble choosing. The choices we made, though, did not disappoint.

Outback Steakhouse - Episode 74

Outback Steakhouse has always been consistent for us, so we decided to have dinner there one night and review the place. Debbie had Chicken on the Barbie, and Mike had the Outback Special. Both dishes were great, the prices were reasonable, and Debbie professed her undying love for... their ranch dressing.

Olive Garden - Episode 70

We really wanted to like the Olive Garden. We really did. But unfortunately this visit left lots of room for improvement. Between their prices, the staff's confusion about the fact that we were all gluten-free, our confusion about the menu and their process, and the staff messing up two out of six guests' meals (which to their credit they told us about and promptly fixed before we ever saw the food), we won't be going back until they improve their process. Not to mention the food tasted bland and was too expensive for what we received. What can we say... sometimes we hit, other times we miss.
